About me

I'm Marta Liébana Martínez (MLM), a Spanish illustrator based in Amsterdam.

My work is focused on feminine, bold and body positive characters.

Living in an international community has broadened my perspective and helped me develop a visual sensitivity that connects across cultures.

I move through editorial, branding and large scale formats, always curious and excited to work on something new.​

Alongside illustration, I’m also a professional pianist. I teach at the Conservatory of Amsterdam and spent over 15 years working in the opera world — surrounded by divas, drama, and pure emotion.
